The best diving season in Malaysia runs from March to October, with peak conditions typically from May to September. During this period, seas are calm, visibility is excellent (up to 20–30 metres at Tenggol Island), and water temperatures hover around 27–30°C. Tenggol Island is closed from November to February due to the Northeast Monsoon.
